Terms and Conditions

The German version of these legal texts is exclusively binding. This translation is provided for convenience only; in the event of any discrepancy or question of interpretation, the German text alone shall govern.

1. Scope

These terms and conditions apply to all contracts for the preparation of vehicle reports concluded between the provider EAS International and the customer via kfzauskunft24.de.

2. Subject matter of the service

The provider prepares, for a fee, a report on the history of a vehicle based on publicly accessible and licensed data sources. Depending on data availability, the report may contain information on mileage, accidents and damage, theft status, technical specifications, and an estimated market value.

3. Scope and no guarantee

The content and scope of a report depend on the data available from the respective sources at the time of the enquiry. The provider has no influence over the completeness or accuracy of this source data and does not guarantee any particular result or the availability of particular information for a specific vehicle.

4. Prices and payment

The prices stated on the website at the time of the order apply, including statutory VAT. A single report costs 24,44 €; in a combined package, the price per report is reduced (from 16,66 €). Payment must be made in advance and is processed via Stripe.

5. Provision

Once payment has been received, the report is generally prepared immediately and made available to the customer online.

6. Customer obligations

The customer must provide complete and accurate information (in particular the VIN or registration plate). No refund claim exists for reports based on incorrect customer information.

7. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a right of withdrawal; for details see the withdrawal notice.

8. Liability

The provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as for damage arising from injury to life, body or health. In the event of a slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations) whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance the customer may regularly rely, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise, liability is excluded. Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected. In particular, the provider is not liable for the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of data obtained from third-party sources, nor for decisions the customer makes on the basis of a report. A report does not constitute legal, purchase or valuation advice and does not replace a professional inspection of the vehicle.

Refunds

A successfully created vehicle report is deemed a fully rendered service. As you expressly consented to immediate performance before the report was created and thereby lost your right of withdrawal, a refund for reports that have been created is excluded. If no report can be created for the requested vehicle identification number because no usable data is available, the credit used is automatically credited back to your account. A fully unused package can be voluntarily refunded to your payment method within 30 days, as long as no report from the package has been created yet; once the first report has been created or a package has been partially used, a refund is excluded.
